Mini Calendar Doesn't show in Anonymous Website

Mar 16, 2011 at 1:55 AM

Hi,

I have a SharePoint 2010 Foundation website with an intranet zone and an anonymous zone.

I placed the mini calendar on a wiki page (insert --> web part --> MyGroups --> Mini calendar)

It displays fine on the intranet site (authenticated) but simply does not display on the anonymous site.
No error, it just does not display.
I have had a look at the permissions on the web part and anonymous have view rights.

I deployed the web part using Powershell Add solution and then deployed through Central admin and activated through Site Options --> Manage site features.
For some reason STSADM could not add the solution (access denied).

Any assistance on this would be greatly apprieciated.

Do the anonymous users have rights to the calendar list?

Hi ,

Yes the anonymous rights to the calendar list are "view". I even tried putting them up to contribute, it did not make any difference.

I had a custom master page, but the behaviour is the same with the default master page.

Cheers

Does Foundation 2010 use the ViewFormPagesLockDown feature? If so, make sure it's deactivated.

I checked, 1.9.3 works with Anonymous sites.  1.9.4 does not.  I will have to roll back my solution since I require anonymous to work.
